New Media Cincinnati is a group of people passionate about and interested in social media and new media technologies, including, but not limited to

• blogging
• podcasting
• social networking tools (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)

People who come to New Media Cincinnati meetups

• make and foster business and personal connections with at least one other person,
• have face-to-face time with social media connections made online,
• learn from one another about social media technologies as we share best practices and other tips
• have the chance to talk about their own online presence
• have opportunities to share something they know with the rest of the group
• partake of food and drink and in general have a great time!

Connecting at New Media Cincinnati meetups has led to new business for some.

PODCAMP OHIO 2 PLANNING

Angelo Mandato, Lead Organizer for Podcamp Ohio 2 will be on-hand as we talk about session topics we'd like to see at the event and kick-off event registration.  PodCamp Ohio 2 will be held at The Ohio State University Mendenhall Labatory on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.  For more information about Podcamp Ohio, check out http://podcampohio.com
